日前,加利福尼亚州莫罗湾(Morro Bay)附近的一只海獭宝宝因为顽皮,与妈妈走丢了。

小家伙刚好被附近的渔民Brett 和 Tomilyn在钓鱼时遇见。Brett 和 Tomilyn在发现小家伙后联系了当地的动物保护官员,随后一群人开着船出海,帮助它找妈妈。

莫罗湾是海豹、白鹭甚至鲸鱼等海洋生物的避风港。海獭种群最近数年里被大量捕杀,猎人们利用它们的皮毛获得高额的利润,如今海獭仍然处于濒临灭绝的动物名单上。

在视频中,保护官员抓住小海獭的脖子以避免被咬伤,他们出船后不久就发现了正在寻找宝宝的海獭妈妈。

由于常年被猎人们捕杀,官员们知道海獭母亲不会冒险的接近人类,但是由于丢失了宝宝,海獭妈妈也不会就这样弃宝宝不顾,所以它就在船附近徘徊。

官员们将宝宝抛向海里,小海獭在水里扑腾并叫了一阵以后,海獭妈妈突然从水下窜出,将宝宝抱在怀里,小海獭重回妈妈的怀抱,终于满足的安静下来。
